I became a professional fundraiser when I got divorced with two small children and reentering the workforce. I had been involved with several non-profits as a board member and donor, so I understood the importance of ever-increasing, sustainable revenues as well as major, transformative gifts. I moved from being a board member to a freelance gala planner, raised 5x more than prior events, and never looked back. I was hooked! Key to my success were the skills I had gleaned in my prior for-profit positions which differentiated my fundraising approach from others and from other causes. Having honed my brand storytelling skills with Fortune 500 companies I know how to make that ever important case for giving!

Today, I am proud to share that I have personally solicited and generated over $35 million in 5,6, and 7 figure gifts and served in leadership roles that delivered $240 million more.

After Covid, I was inspired by colleagues to move into philanthropic coaching and consulting full-time. Many asked me to coach them one-on-one, the ultimate compliment, and I’m now helping clients locally, nationally and around the world.
